Hello to my humble peers from Jenessa. This month has been completely uneventful, and super busy, finished with a dose of boring. However, I have just a few things that may be of interest, despite the overall boring-ness of this month.
First off, 10 days left until I depart for Europe! How exciting is that? I cannot wait!!! I finally have an excuse to start planning what to pack and whatnot. I promise to have you all with me in spirit.
The Amazing Race, my favorite tv show of all time, kicked off last Sunday (well, the 19th), and I have FBI agents as an all-girl team (whoot-whoot, girls!).
This Friday, a Holocaust survivor is coming to our school to speak! His name is Stephen Nasser, and he wrote an award-winning book during his time in the camp called, "My Brother's Voice." It's a really good read, and I can't wait to hear about his story and what he has to say to us.
Nothing else is really going on.... On Thursday, I have to give this super-professional powerpoint called a proposal in my language arts class, and we have to time each slide for 15 seconds and keep on time, not go over or under. We even have to dress fancy...ugh. I don't like dresses.
Oops, there's the bell. Gotta go to seminary.
